Why Mac is cool
Mac is cool because 1) it just works. In those rare events where 1 temporarily doesn't hold, 2) you can always rely on a little help from your friends to get it back up. A case in point is an issue with Mail that I was able to fix yesterday, with the assistance from a friend I didn't know I had who lives in Barcelona, Spain. �Muchas gracias, David!

Must have been a terrifying moment...
It wasn't too bad - I have backups (yes, several) and I knew that the messages were still around, so I figured there must be a way to actually retrieve them.
